Although we may have outgrown Grandpa & Grandma Roth’s basement, let’s resurrect some moments of Roth Christmas past. Join us December 21 at the Avon Auxiliary Gym. We’ll be playing some old home movie footage, courtesy of Robert. Carol is organizing some games. And Santa will also pay a visit at some point in the night (<< Attention parents)!! The gift exchange will be White Elephant. Keep kids’ gifts separated so they have age-appropriate options to pick from.

And we can’t forget the food—in the school kitchen, we will be preparing Grandma Sylvia’s Potato Dumpling Soup, a common delicacy of pheasant opener back in the day. This is a manageable task with many hands, so please consider arriving early to lend a hand—no special skills required. We will also have taverns and ask that you consider bringing a side or dessert to share—your favorite from the Roth Cookbook, perhaps? Sadly, we know this date only works for half of the Roth crew. If it goes over well, don’t be surprised if we resurrect this concept again next year for those who missed out on the nostalgia in 2024
